I keep hearing that the inf build of fs open supports more ships and weapons etc... where can this jewel be obtained =D

Inferno builds are a ***** to make, and are only made on request, so it'll be quite hard to find them.

No, an INF build doesn't have any special features, just more capacity for weapons/ships. The Gargant and Oannes can be used with a normal build.

but the cod was originally developed for INF, before the normal default was raised i think.....

Yes, at SCP, we develop fish :P

Anyway, having gone through the code, the only difference in inferno builds is the upped ship and weapon limits (it also uses a separate pilot file to compensate).  I think you're confused.  Inferno builds don't use a different codebase.  The features of INF builds are turned on by enabling a flag when you compile.  There are very few differences between them and regular builds.

There was one a while ago in recent builds, and it looks like blowfish might be willing to make you one if you're really nice and eat all your vegetables.

I'm on a mac, and I think it's a safe assumption that you are on window$, so unless you want a build you can't use, I'm not the guy to ask.

Yeah we have nothing to do with the actual compiling of those builds, we just use them.
