Yes, I know, it came from AOL. My parents are trapped on it for the time being, but I noticed this (http://news.aol.com/weird-news/article/just-what-is-the-montauk-monster/114144?icid=100214839x1206896998x1200339762) when they were checking their email. It's really strange, and I'm curious as to your theories on it.

Turtle without a shell.
-
Not unless its some kind of mutation. the shell is embedded in the flesh..

Ay-Oh-El...
It does look like a turtle. It doesn't look like a pug or raccoon to me...
-
That's obviously Rudy Guliani.
-
look like it has a beak, not many animals have beaks, AND teeth.
it also seems to have hair, around the neck.
-
Turtle.

Turtle.
Explain the teeth then. And hair.
-
TMNT.
-
Photo shop?
-
Possible, unless someone actually saw it on the beach.
-
Turtle.
It's definitely not a turtle, their spinal column is actually embedded in their shell. If it was a turtle without a shell, you'd see a ~2in wide gash where the spine should be.
It'd be a long shot but I'm thinking maybe a new species. There's a lot of stuff under the water that we don't know about.

Guess sarcasm is lost over the tubes. I would've thought the TMNT comment would've tipped people off.
I agree, it's probably a huge mutation, or a new species, or a crossbreed.

Whoops, was scrolling through too fast and didn't see it.
-
It's a dog with the flesh around the mouth rotted away

Clever touching of images.

That's almost about as accurate as saying that forest canopies house many new animal species. :blah:

If they found it July 13, someone should have put some blood under the microscope by now and been able to at least tell whether it was a reptile, mammal or bird. Thus, I call hoax.
[EDIT] There are better photos about (http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,396182,00.html). From the second photo, My first reaction was a pig of some kind, but it looks like it has more prominent hooves than trotters on its rear legs. Still, they're drappy photos, so I'm going to stick with Pig for the moment.

Read the link BlackWolf posted, a dead raccoon it is.
-
To be honest, I don't see what the big deal about it is. Why does a random animal corpse automatically become an alien? :wtf:
-
since cloverfield
-
No, since Rosswell
-
No, since unknowns were known, but not known.
-
It's a dog. Thrown out in a trash bag and decomposed from water. All the skin and flesh on the head rotted away leaving the beaklike skull characteristic of dogs.

I thought someone just proved it was a racoon.
