Title: Junk-Productions - SF-Junky's Campaign Builder's Corner
Post by: SF-Junky on August 06, 2008, 04:29:05 pm
To keep the specific campaign threads clear from any development talking, I'll use this thread in the future to keep you informed about the status of my new campaign projects. You may also have a look on my new web page for an overview:

Okay, there isn't much to have an overview about by now, but hopefully that will have changed in a few years. ;7

Just that you know: At the moment it is not sure wether a final version of What If can be released on September 1 (See this thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,55660.0.html)). So possibly only the beta will be available for the time being then.

Unfortunately for those who were looking forward to any new StormFront releases, I have to announce that there will be no further campaigns from me this year. To be brief: I'm sick of it! Sick of fred. Sick of stupid mistakes which occur because of nothing. Sick of random game crashes. This is not what I call fun.

Maybe next year I will make another try, but for the time being, I can't see fred and FS2 anymore.

I find myself shouting at FRED some times and then I think the same thing about not touching it any more... but after a couple of days (or when you are with nothing else to do) I tend to pick up the forgotten work, that's when I become friends with FRED again...

Hope this is also the case for you :D
Your campaigns are great, don't quit.

PLEASE DON'T ! :shaking:

There are a lot of people around in the community who REALY appreciate your work.

OK, take some rest, play Siedler or Civilization or ... :P... something different, but then.. come back. ;7

Have a look at this thread
http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/board,7.0.html

You see with what your work is compared.

Well, I made a little proposal there, which perhaps wouldn't take so much effort, since these missions are all mostly done, but would definitely take advantage by your skills creating a .. certain atmosphere, not only comparable to the original Great War.  ;)

Well, I didn't say that I quit forever. Just don't expect anything new from me until 2010. Maybe SCP 3.7 is out by then. That would be a fine opportunity to start with a complete overhaul.
For the time being I'll try to keep up with FSCRP and work on a german-spoken StarCraft project.

Besides that it is nice to see that some people really seem to be interested in my campaigns. :)

you just burned yourself... as snail said it's already 2009.

I used to live in 2008 myself a couple of weeks ago.

Man, some people really seem to wait for others to make a typo.

And I seriously won't work at command, snail. :p
