Title: Feature Request: Larger Command Briefing Box
Post by: Snail on August 13, 2008, 07:44:08 am
Is this possible? I sure as hell would find it useful.

And another thing (probably a lot harder) could it be possible to string the specified command briefing animations together into a long one [which loops back to the first one]? (as in, you specify "intel_earth.ani" and then "knossos.ani" which would make it display the Earth picture, followed by an animation of the Knossos, then it goes back to the Earth .ani and so on) This would make cbani creation a lot easier for people who can't make .anis. And it would help prevent the super-specific types of .anis that we get included in FS2 (the FS1 ones were a lot more vague and could be used in more circumstances, while the FS2 ones could only be used for the ones they were meant to be used in)

In FRED or in game?

Cause the former is about 2-3 minutes work if that. The later is probably very hard to do as it needs new interface art, not only for FS2 but for BtRL, TBP and WCS as well as any other mods in development who have already sorted out the interface.

*Opens MSVC*

*Starts stopwatch*

*Finishes changes*

*Stops stopwatch*

39 seconds. And that includes the time it took me to turn on resource view and find the command briefing dialog so I could change it. :p
