Then you just have to open the .VPs, and extract the files. Use VPView or Maja, do you have FreeSpace Open?

Use VPView. You'll be less likely to break something that way.

Thing is, he sounds like he may have a Titan scenario, from what he says he has to go to the library to use the net.

Urgh... It's no longer a scenario. I think it is more of a Titan Syndrome now.

Besides, didn't this dude release the "capship usebue mod" a while back?

He wants the ones in the Port, the icons for the FS1 weapons done in the FS2 style.

i'd like to have the FS1 weapon anis, and use those instead of the FS2 ones...

I'll try to dig those up on my hardrive, but if you use them the colors won't match in the interface.

Here's something you might like while you're waiting anyway. I've used Flaming Sword's interface templates and recolored the interface in a color that's closer to Freespace 1's.

EDIT: Here are (I think all) of the Freespace 1 ship and weapon selection icons. IIRC they've all been named to just "drop" into the interface folder and show up correctly, however I might not have changed the hornet. They do NOT include the Silent Threat ones, as I still need to dig up my Silent Thread CD.
