These 2 things are probably impossible, or very hard to do, but I don't know, and you can't blame me for trying/wanting to know this:
Is it possible to:
1. To have multi-lock missiles? I mean, being able to lock onto multiple ships/subsystems and launch a swarm missile that'll go after the targets.
2. Multi type beams? I want a beam cannon that will fire a direct beam and then a slash beam. I want to have a beam that will fire a slash or direct beam randomly. How to explain better. . . A beam that will fire like this, for example: direct, slash, direct, direct, slash, direct, slash, slash, etc.

Would require coding, how about a heat-seeker with a 360o homing cone?

Two beams, one on top of the other, same cooldown, unlock one several seconds after the other.

heat seekers only go after you current target amirite? but what happens if you have no target? do they go after the closest enemy or just fire straight?

first red dot they see

Sounds like a pretty heavy SEXP action.

I think I asked this before, and someone said it'd require a code change. cole's solution may not work the way you want it to.

No, cause once they start firing, and don't stop, you'll still get the effect.

The edited rockeye will still only track one target.
However, you might be able to create an invisible missile that acts as a parent and have it explode w/ no animation or sound immediately after launch
then the child parts would go and seek whatever

Though I wanted to have control over where they go.
And too bad. These weapons would have been well for next generation GTVA fleets.
