Men claim to have found Bigfoot body. Release 6 photographs.
This will always strike me as odd. If you were out hiking, had a camera on you, and thought you had stumbled across the answer to one of the Western world's biggest mysteries, would you take 6 photographs? Or would you keep going until you had no film/battery/digital memory left?
'Stop photographing the Yeti, I want some shots of the mountains!'
I always take these kind of reports with a big pinch of salt, and it looks like this situation is no different.
-
Don't they supposedly have the body in a freezer?
-
Allegedly yes, but the DNA results came back as one sample Human, the other sample from a Possum. So far, no scientific tests have given any hint that this is Bigfoot or any other unknown species.
Time will tell, obviously, but I'm highly dubious to say the very least.
-
I'm wondering what poor SOB someone has in a freezer
-
Just glad I shaved the other day. Really considering moving the hair cut up on the priority list now.

They got CNN this time: http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/08/14/bigfoot.body/index.html

How exactly is that a hoax? :wtf:

How exactly is that a hoax? :wtf:
You honestly think they accidentally sent in samples of human and opossum DNA?
Faked attempts to prove "bigfoot" is real = hoax. Doesn't matter if they're proven false the same day as they're published or not :P

The top link, which was all that was there at the time, did not say that.
-
probably another one of those fubar'd attempts into a cover as usual. they say the same thing about these supposed alien photographs also.
-
Just listened to that report on Headline News. It said 3 types of DNA were found. One was a possum (Bigfoot's lunch perhaps?) Other was human (people that found it perhaps?) Third they couldn't identify due to technical problems.
-
well this is what it would take to prove it, but it already seems as though it's BS. shame really, it'd be cool to find we had Australopithecus living on our continent.
-
Georgia? I kind of always had the impression that Bigfoot was supposed to live somewhere in the Rocky Mountains or West Coast...Not the south. :nervous:

He was on holiday, they could tell by the Bermuda shorts...

Everyone knows that Bigfoot ran off to Canada so that he and Steve Summers could get married.

It's a cover up. He's real and and someone got to them before the evidence could be substanciated. There's probably a bigfoot out there holding there families hostage right now. :D
