That's actually pretty cool. The fire effects were pulled off very nicely... to improve it, you could get some more dynamic light effects in there. :)

Try practising making true 3D planets instead of....that photoshop filter widget.

The compositing could do with a little tweaking, some nasty matte outlines here and there.

Composition is good and the render quality on the true-3d bits is good.

Keep it coming :)

Pretty good - it seems a little, yeah, pixelly - a sort of copy/paste thing. But otherwise, neat :)

Thanks alot for the advice. See i dont have the same means to produce 3d rendered art all togeather in 1 image say as Venom who can produce 3d planets with the ships togeather. so i work with what i have. thats why i call my art 2D/3D art. cause its a mixture of both. thanks for the feedback!

Nice...! Don't like the explosion effects on that Orion too much though...try something  else for that.

? hey, you can delete that grey line even in paint. I like the pic overhal, but I think this detail is wrong.

And oh yes, jump nodes are invisible. The green spheres are simply HUD representations and don't actually exist.

Heheh... treat this as a stepping stone. Keep going, and you'll get better... trust me, I've seen a lot worse. ;)

LOL........ i know that, i was trying to make the image seem as if it were say "ingame" minus a player hud to clutter up the screen.

but all in all i was being lazy with erasing that white line around the pods.

setekh, was that a pic u made before u started making ur sUpAr screens now?:devilidea

Oh Steak... That one was... wow. Underdone. :D

I wouldn't show that one if I were you.

It could be even worse, though. My first render ever:
