I avoided the Lilith altogether by NOT destroying the cruisers. It doesn't feel right having them there anyway. A Rakshasa seems more fitting.

The mission got much harder if played as it was meant to be. But it doesn't make sense that if I disable every ship, there wouldn't be any respawns. Of course, that might be what the Pegasus is for.

this mission was... idiotic, to say the least, and the only thing i can actually commend is the background.

now, on to the more... interesting bits.

A) effectively infinite manticore/nahema respawns. a weeensy bit frustrating (54 kills, 5k shots fired, 50% accuracy)
B) Closeness of well... everything. Dude, its space, use it.
C) The Liberty jumped out with 7%. And thats because i focused on the bombers and not the cruisers.
D) why do the bombers carry shivan clusters?
E) whatever...

In conclusion, this mission sucks.

(i've flown in an Erinyes with dual kaysers, harpoon and tornadoes, that was alpha wing and beta was 2 Ares, dual kaysers, harpoon/treb loadouts)

just to have fun, i'm gonna take the mission again with the perseus.

THE HORROR!!!
was playing on easy and it was pretty much easy to take out the fighters and stuff, but the perseus is too flimsy for taking out beam cannons on the bloody lilliths.

If you don't destroy the cruisers, the Shivans won't have a reason to send more.

Yeah I just get a whole bunch of Error messages.
Are you using 3.6.9?

UPDATE:

I just did the folowing:

- modified backround

- modified debrifing

- deleated the Liliths

- changed mission music

- removed the clusters from the bombers

Anyway, open it with FRED 3.6.9 and click ''OK'' on every error message. Then ''Save'' and play the mission.
