Title: Character progs
Post by: Stryke 9 on February 28, 2002, 04:55:40 pm
Anyone know of a good, cheap, high-quality modeler for/with human figures? I need something capable of animation, with all the fancy little gadgets like a hair generator, gravity, possibly a cloting modeler, etc. None of the all-purpose modelers seem to ship a good one, and all the overpriced character studios I've seen aren't really compatible with the more versatile 3D modelers.

There should be a Poser demo somewhere. Hmmm... Curious Labs (http://www.curiouslabs.com) (Poser devs) seems to be down...

I remember seeing a 30-day Poser trial somewhere; maybe it can be found on that website once it is back up.

Character Studio I've got, unless I'm missing something it's not quite up to snuff for movie quality... and Poser? POSER? I said not overpriced and somewhat compatible with regular progs!:p
