I'm starting some fighter MODs for a campaign I'm starting after I'm done with Operation: Underground Ep. 2. The only thing is I don't have TrueSpace and the trial version sucks. Right now the file is in DXF format. Also, I've been having some trouble using COB2FS and COB2FS2. I try to open them and the program shuts as soon as I open them. Post a reply if you want to help me with either.

Really? From the posts it seemed like there were a lot of texture artists. . . But anyway, do you know what's wrong with the conversion programs?

Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that the COB2FS version number is 5 and the COB2FS2 version number is 1.

Well without knowing exactly what you're doing it's a bit hard to say the flaw. But my bet is the DFX format.
So far every DFX file I've toyed with had every single face reversed, so try flipping them and see how that goes (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
AS for cob2fs2, I use the windows version with no problems at all (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)

In Truespace, 3ds, not a clue sorry.
I use Rhino 3d for some basic model work and that it's simply ctrl A to select all faces then enter command FLIP (http://dynamic.gamespy.com/~freespace/ubb/noncgi/smile.gif)
