Never having heard that I guess it may explain the 1800's clothes she's wearing.
Also, there's something weird with her ... *figures out directions*... right eye.
And I'm not trying to be overly critical, I admire the anime style of art and wish I could draw half that good.

Oh... just more proof that the Japanese are weird, (there's nothing wrong with weirdness though, being weird is one of the few thing I'm good at :P)
