Basically every claim they made has no support here (http://www.johnmccain.com/Informing/Issues/)...

And to make things even:

15 Reasons Why I'm Voting Democrat......

1. I'm voting Democrat because I believe the government will do
a better job of spending the money I earn than I would.

2. I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as
long as no Democrat is offended by it.

3. I'm voting Democrat because if we pull out of Iraq and
Afghanistan immediately, I trust that the bad guys will stop what they're
doing because they now think we're good people.

4. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that people who can't
tell us if it will rain on Friday CAN tell us that the polar ice caps will
melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.

5. I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the
slaughter of 45 million babies so long as we keep all death row inmates
alive.

6. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that a business should
not be allowed to make a profit for themselves. They need to break even and
give the rest away to the government for redistribution as they see fit.

7. I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy
headed elitists need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some
fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.

8. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the
terrorists don't have to hide from us over there any longer, and they come
over here, I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off
with.

9. I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now
marry whoever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.

10. I'm voting Democrat because I believe oil companies'
profits of 8% on a gallon of gas are obscene but the government taxing the
same gallon of gas 15% isn't.

11. I'm voting Democrat because I believe government is wiser
than I am, regarding the raising of my children.

12. I'm voting Democrat because I believe in religious freedom,
as long as we're not talking about Christianity.

13. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the Constitution
is a 'living document' that changes with our society.

14. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that 'separation of
church and state' is in the Constitution.

15. I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the government
has the right to allow my daughter to have an abortion without my knowledge,
even though I have to give MY permission for her to get her ears pierced.

Thank you for another piece of wonderful propaganda in my "collection".
If Americans believe any of this crap (from anyone, Rep or Dem) then you really deserve what you're going to get.

Sadly the world is not such a "simple" place, where complex issues can be addressed in such a "clear" manner.

Yes.

Sorry, Bengal, but nobody in either party can reduce complex issues to such pat little sound bites without turning them into dogmatic propaganda. I hope you don't actually believe most of what you said.

I'm voting Democrat because freedom of speech is fine as

Well that's an oversimplification if I've ever heard one.

Quote

melt away in ten years if I don't start driving a Prius.
Meteorologists and climatologists are not the same thing. That's like saying any prediction about the average number of heads or tails after a billion coin flips is crap because you can't predict what the next one will be.

Quote
I'm voting Democrat because I'm not concerned about the
slaughter of 45 million babies so long as we keep all death row inmates
alive.
Slaughter is not the right term. Babies is not the right term. And not everyone who is convicted of a crime actually did it--people getting the death penalty are no exception.

A profit is making more money than you spent. If you invest that money to make more money in the future, it's no longer a profit. If you pay your employees the extra money, it's no longer a profit.

Quote
I'm voting Democrat because I believe three or four pointy
headed elitists need to rewrite the Constitution every few days to suit some
fringe kooks who would never get their agendas past the voters.
By replacing what you're actually talking about with these derogatory labels ("pointy headed elitists", "fringe kooks") you've really proven your point. And the Democrats totally trample on the constitution all the time. BTW that was sarcasm.

Quote
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that when the
terrorists don't have to hide from us over there any longer, and they come
over here, I don't want to have any guns in the house to fight them off
with.
Except that the terrorists over there and the ones who have attacked over here are two completely separate groups (with few exceptions).

Quote
I'm voting Democrat because I love the fact that I can now
marry whoever I want. I've decided to marry my horse.
There's a difference between a human and a horse... or did you not know that? Or did you assume we didn't know that? Because we do.

Quote
I'm voting Democrat because I believe government is wiser
than I am, regarding the raising of my children.
So if I wanted to raise my children as neo-Nazis, you'd be okay with that?

Quote
I'm voting Democrat because I believe in religious freedom,
as long as we're not talking about Christianity.
Religions do not have a right to get their doctrines made law, so we're not really taking away your rights there. Getting your doctrines made law, however, takes away from our rights. See the difference?

Quote
I'm voting Democrat because I believe that the Constitution
is a 'living document' that changes with our society.
It is. What's your point? Or would you rather we still prevented everyone who wasn't a white male protestant land-owner from voting?

Some of the claims were just too ridiculous for me to address. So I didn't bother with them. Also some of the statements weren't really bad things.

So if this what I found on the Internet offends you, because it's twisting the truth too much, does the Voting Republican video not offend you for the same reason?

Also- Points 1 and 6 are about raising taxes, therefore having the government spending the money people earn.

Point 4 is about Al Gore (Nobel Prize winner for his work about Global Warming) and his party wanting to dramatically lower emissions because of global warming. And they in fact aren't climateologists or meteorologists.

5. is about Democrats being pro abortion, and anti death penalty.

Number 8 is in part about gun control, something Republicans don't support too much.

9. is about gay/lesbian marriage.

10. is about Obama's plan to raise Big Oil's taxes, without lowering the VAT on gas itself

15 is about what it says, although I'm clueless about how the laws and Dem's opinions are in this case.

Now if anyone could back the claims on the "Voting Republican" video...:

Where do Republicans state they:
-are against small local shops,
-they support monopoly,
-support importing 'cheap plastic crap from China',
-don't support AIDS and breast cancer healing programs,
-support hiring judges without testing their knowlage,
-want classes at school to be over 30 people,
-feel that women can't choose for themselves regarding their own bodies,
-continueing the use of fossil fuels is more important than the environment,
-want to decide who can love who,
-don't want corporations to pay for environmental damage and want to disband the EPA,
-will create a law that forbids from informing people if their food was modified/radiated,
-support people being 'screwed by the utility companies',
-support racial profiling,
-are against health insurance,
-want to cancel/alter the Constitution,
-want to start as many wars as possible?

I'm not offended by the list because it's too stupid to illicit attention. I'm sure if I took five minutes I could come up with an equally stupid list for the democrats, but that's giving this way too much attention.

15 Reasons Why I'm Voting Democrat......

Whole bunch of garbage.
That video was presented to give a satirical view of the worst common themes of the Republican party.  They're exaggeration, but they're true on some level.

However, what you posted was just flat out wrong.  Try again, but don't be so absent-minded about it next time.  Or better yet, don't.

QFT.

Lies and stupidity a plenty in both camps.
IMHO, all Republicans and Democrats shodl be strapped to a rocket and launched into the Sun. Then maybe something better will pop up in the vacuum.

I actually prefer the political discussions on HLP much more than elsewhere on the internet at large, in general. The comments on youtube especially are amazing.
