Title: Pimping TBP DVD (post your TBP ad links here)
Post by: hip63 on September 14, 2008, 02:48:35 am
I (like a few others) have been posting about the DVD in some forums to which I belong.  The feedback has been very positive :D

BTW - The above forums have Great Mods themselves :D Check'em out!

I've also posted in some private forums but since they are private, I can't post links here.

So where have YOU been pimping TBP DVD?

I just posted blurbs in a bunch of non-video game websites. They're board gaming websites rather than video game. Probably not much traffic, but maybe a few takers:

http://b5wars.net/ (http://b5wars.net/) (no direct URL apparently, but it's in the general forum)

http://www.star-ranger.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3975 (http://www.star-ranger.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3975)

http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/forum.php (http://www.mongoosepublishing.com/forum.php)

http://www.classicbattletech.com/forums/index.php/topic,40704.0.html (http://www.classicbattletech.com/forums/index.php/topic,40704.0.html)
(though there's so much **** on this page that it's already bumped to #2)

http://subodeon.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=sff&action=display&thread=1322 (http://subodeon.proboards30.com/index.cgi?board=sff&action=display&thread=1322)

So, who knows how many people downloaded. But people who play board games play videogames too.

Other then ModDB and the Drunks site I haven't been doing much.  Just posted it on my community website.  Thinking about burning a few DVD's and leaving them at the bar.  Still a lot of people on dial-up around here.  DSL is limited area and cable sucks and has only been around for about a year.  Glad I'm only a mile from the phone company central office.
