Title: problems with the effects not working

I recently downloaded the installer for the open project, downloaded and installed it all, ran fs2 with the launcher and turned all the effects and goodies on, it looked great, but now i'm not sure what i've done and the effects arent appearing anymore, like the improved ship models, lighting and textures and everything even though its all turned on in the settings.

need help :( not sure what has happened.

Open the Launcher. Open the MOD tab. Click Browse. Select the folder \mediavps\. OK. Apply. Run.

thanks heaps man :D your a lifesaver, will remember that now :D, love freespace, played this game for ages and never even thought of downloading the open source project, didnt think it would be this good
