Title: Credit Card Woes
Post by: BloodEagle on September 18, 2008, 08:16:28 am
Article (http://www.canada.com/story.html?id=66d92db6-38a7-4959-be1b-ee72395960bb).

"An Alberta family's recent trip to the Philippines ended up being a slice more expensive than they had planned -- after they were charged $2,600 for two pizzas."

Just one more reason why I don't eat at Pizza Hut. Well, that and the fact that they undercook the dough....

There are only two pizza places that I've eaten at in my entire life that were worth more than a damn.

Pie in the Sky: I recently tried this on a whim, and was so glad that I did. It wasn't as good, but it reminded me of the following pizza place, which doesn't exist within hundreds of miles from my place of residence.

Johnny's Pizza: Truly, their pizza is as Ambrosia was unto the gods.

Note: both pizza places are chains, not Mom & Pop joints.

Pizza Hut makes the best pizza in this town, with the possible exception Costco (I am not making this up), but their pepperoni is...incredibly spicy. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing, except for the hidden water bill costs. On the other hand, Pizza Hut is expensive but you pay for what you get.

Why do so many people like Pizza Hut's food? :wtf:
Do the Pizza Huts in my city just suck or something? Cause I don't believe they've ever made a pizza slice worth eating when I've gone.

Dion's is far superior. Them and CiCi's both. Pizza Hut is just awful by comparision.

I believe you on the Costco thing.  Never had theirs but Sam's club makes a heck of a good pizza too.

Costco is great. I like Donatos, but they don't have them in this part of the US.

Venezia's or Cusatos' or Rosa's are my favorite three pies. Rosa = best, Venezia = 2nd best, Cusato = still decent

Growing up in NYC spoiled me with quality pizza.  Famous Ray's, Original Ray's, Famous Original Ray's, Original Famous Ray's...ah, so many choices   :p

A friend of mine from NYC always waxes poetic about the quality of authentic New York pizza...though after eating at a pizza joint in Virginia owned by a New York transplant, I have to admit that he might have a point. :p

I like Papa John's and usually buy theirs for home delivery. I remember Pizza Hut being good too, but I haven't gone to one in years.

And I notice the topic is about credit cards.

Personally, I love Pizza Hut's stuffed crust pizza. Awesomness right there. But sometimes their crust is kinda thick.
