Title: What makes an ibx file?

I'm trying to figure out how to make an ibx file of a model?
Very little to nothing more mentioned about it other than it makes models load faster in the retail SCP?
Might be useful info to add to the Wiki

Run FS2. Play a mission which uses the model in question.

Voila.

Leave it to me to think I have to build and compile the thing myself.
The reason I asked was trying the cockpit mod fixed out of curiosity with my own models.
I'll go ahead look around for the files already made.
