Italian news gave a lot of importance to this tragic event...well, who wouldn't?

A sad event indeed. My mother was fond of him.

Respect to you Paul.

/me refrains from going "The salad dressing guy!?!?"

But yes, apparently he also had a brand of fig bars which were basically just Fig Newtons but they were called Fig Newmans instead.

No...Cool Hand Luke, Butch Cassidy, and one of the classiest actors Hollywood has ever seen.  He'll definitely be missed.

Yeah I know he's an actor. I just happened to have noticed the salad dressing before I saw any of the movies.

Yes, everyone loves it when I use the me tag to say I won't do something that I've already done by saying I wouldn't do it.

Or using the "refrain tag" for the same purpose.
However i suggest you to read what the "sallad dressing guy" did whit the "sallad dressing money".

Sadly I also immediately thought of salad dressing.

But those Fig Newmans were definitely better than Fig Newtons.

Hopefully Newman's Own will survive the death of Paul Newman, because they make a lot of good organic stuff. (good is there meaning "in spite of being", not "because")

"After Newman's death on 26 September 2008, whilst some feared that the company would become defunct, the company is expected to continue to function, with Nell Newman expected to take it over."
