:welcomered:

It's supposed to fire beam cannons at the Orion. Pretty much like the one above. And destroy it. Try to create a new pilot, or adjust the difficulty level for the mission?

I found problem, but this is a bit... strange.
Orion had been destroyed only if i switched off time compresion ;)

Beam weapons do damage every frame, which means the damage doesn't register if the time compression is set too high.

You used time compression... Yea... Didn't think of that. Just that you see- this cinematic doesn't take long. Second: beams get weaker with time compression on, and Darius beat me with saying that.

... Can't you just blow the orion up?

Yeah? I've never had that problem though I have never gone above 8x time compression.

kimo: Was the Lucifer firing its beams?

Yes TopAce. 3 or 4 times. With normal time compression, Orion has been destroyed, with max - no.

Like i said, since killing the Orion is the trigger, can't you just blow it up?

Whenever I replay BP, I just cheat to kill off the Orion faster.

OK, easy guys. Lucifer annihilated Orion. Problem has been solved.

Is the beam damage multiplied by the compression like it should be?

Also, why would you use time compression?

With max time compression beam cannons are weaker than with normal speed.

Why I used time compression? Because I'm a bit impatient :)

That cinematic wasn't long. Around a minute or so.

I remember seeing it for the first time, thinking what it was gonna actually be.

Yes, but I was sure that it will be long cutscene. OK, I was wrong.

:wtf:

kimo, you can press F4 in-game to see how many fighters the Orion spews. It's just a fraction of footage taken from a dead Hermes Escape Pod, remember? ;)
