Pft... Heroes. Just jumping in to make my dislike of that crap known. Carry on.

loltroll

I'd probably have gotten into this show if I wasn't already a big Lost junkie, but I wasn't even able to keep up with that last season.  Maybe somewhere down the line I'll give it a look.

I wouldn't say it's crap but it lost my interest in season 1 when they basically, started making no sense at all.

Hiro: "We have to go to New York! Save the world"
Japanese guy: "oh, okay, let's go."
Hiro: "We're in America! Let's save the world!"
Japanese guy: "to New York!"
Hiro: "No, to Las Vegas! Because this Comic says so"
Japanese guy: "er . . . ok"
Hiro: "Now let's go to Texas! Because I'm so concerned about saving the world in New York."
Japanese guy: "er . . . . ohhhhkay"

Or the cheerleader. Gets sexually assaulted and killed, end of the episode, she wakes up in a morgue on the autopsy table. I think "Wow, her life is over! She's going to have to go on the run, because everyone knows she's a freak. This will be exciting."

next episode "Cheerleader puts on her clothes and goes home. Life continues on as normal. Turns out, she was killed, tossed in the river, discovered, pulled out of the river, brought to the morgue and autopsied ALL IN THE SAME NIGHT" Wow, that's an efficient town.

         Serious potential. Continual disappointment.

I'm not that sure I like the new direction where good guys become bad guys and bad guys become good guys.

Seems like a lot of masturbation to fill time for no specific reason other than to just continue making money with something that was a hit.

I do like Zachary Quinto though. Spock be all good actor and ****.

In total honesty i watched it first time for "hot crazy stripper mum" and cheerleader service :nervous: it'll never be x-men but it's got Hiro and that's cool enough for now  it is a bit plastic'y feeling in production though.

There! That's another problem. Hot Stripper mom. When she's off screen she rips people in half. When she's on-screen she just punches people hard into a wall. The one, does not match the other. Pump her up to be some evil incarnate and when we get to see her throw down she doesn't do anything special. Not that I saw anyway. Though I only saw her fight once or twice.

I like Heroes...can't say I love it...but I've been watching it anyways.  The production values are high and the quality is ok.  Sometimes the stories are a bit off and you wonder what the plan is or if they have one at all.  Its not as gripping as some other shows...once I've seen an episode its ok and I can let it go on to the next one.

As Sci-Fi goes...its not bad. Its decent.

Yeah i know what you mean, HArry potter has a deeper plot, but after a day of work / shady labour, it's nice to relax and watch something enjoyable without overworking the thought muscles for once.
