A newspaper report says a Chicago women bid just $1.75 to win an eBay auction for an abandoned home in Saginaw. Mich.
Does any of this sound fishy to anyone besides me?
-
Second one not really. Property with delinquent tax ofter sells very cheap. The catch is the new owner is responsible for the back taxes and any liens etc on the property.
-
It also states that $850.00 in back taxes was owed, not bad.. She also stated she was planning to resell the property..
-
Man, if someone wanted to steal my gardening equipment, I'd make them work for it.
-
gerdening equipment is easy to replace. who cares if someone takes a rake from my shed? it's not like their going to play golf with it...
-
Kids round mine would, luckily my chainsawS (Thats right Karajorma i bought another one) are locked in my house. So if my shed was "accessed" i'd use one of them to "encourage" them to do my garden, funnily (or not) a few weeksa go i had two mountain bikes nicked from my back garden...

Shed stealing solution in 2 easy steps:
Step 1: Leave shed unlocked with decent looking junk that you don't want in it.
Step 2: Place landmine in front of door
Step 3 (only needed if your name is Colonol Dekker) move shed to some other county so you won't lock yourself out of the house and decide to sleep in the shed when drunk: :D
-
Jokes about me and land-mines aren't jokes....they're cruel and unusual.......... :( :( :( :( :(
-
:nervous:
I think it was unintentional.
-
Sorry didn't mean it that way Dekker. It was a drunk joke nothing more. I could just have easily said leave Carl guarding the door but didn't think of that at the time.
No offense meant especially if what you went through involved a mine in any way. My bad.
-
Nah i'm kidding :p
I'm not the whiney type you guys should know that by now
-
Now that's balls.
I'd have to say that if you wanted to whine about that specific topic, I think you'd probably have every right.
-
Wouldn't achieve anything. Plus what you said wasn't meant or intentially offensive.
@ FUBAR, don't worry man  it's all good in the hood. I'm big enough and (not) ugly enough to take it onthe chin and keep smiling :p
In all seriousness i don't think there are any lawas against setting up IEDs (Improvised explosive devices) on your own property with the aim of defending your property. so it might be worth looking into.
Don't let it happen again though or i'll blow your house up :nervous:

I almost got flattened by a truck about a year and a bit ago. (true story)
Nobody's allowed to make trucker jokes!

Okay, I'll try not to talk about how bad Gnomes are at driving then ;)
