So, what did everyone think?
The first to episodes would have been awesome, if they hadn't tryed to 'widen the audience' from the darker episode 3. (i mean, after the evil, PG13 episode 3, they wanted to keep going, but they wanted to give 4-year-olds star-wars fun.) by this i mean the droids made me wanna take a knife to my throat. :ick: I liked it when they only said what a battle-programmed-robot WOULD say, instead of playing back-street driver and barny comedy hour at the same time.

This is the cartoon or the movie?
-
Movie, probably. The miniseries was decent.

True, true.

Star Wras?
-
I thought it was trash.
I know.
You're shocked.
-
he is probably talking about the CG tv show based on the CG movie that was sort of based off the miniseries, which premiered like last night and I happened to catch despite not being especially interested in it.
it was fairly good,, not as good as the miniseries, but better than any of the new movies.
-
never really watched the miniseries, they were too short for me to be able to toon into. Sorry for the vague randomness of the first post.
And that gif is awesome.

 Thanks Titan, it's my current phone background..
Feel free to save a copy.
I have no idea wo that guy is but i recognise the sbds.

The CG movie was actually the first few episodes of the TV series strung together. The series as a whole borrows some stylistic elements from the older 2D animated miniseries by Genndy Tartakovsky, but I don't think it's specifically tied to it, other than being set in the same general timeframe.
-
BTW, WTF is a "Wras"?
-
I recognize that scene tho. Its the Battle of Coruscant.

Curses! He's corrected the title!

The movie and the miniseries should be the same thing. Idk if it is. If it is, then, well crappy. I'll just stick with star wars the clone wars that i saw in theaters for now. It was a pretty decent movie i thought
Nevermind, just found out the series was different. I'll have to watch it.

/me shut up...
:bump:
I only saw the first episode of The Clone Wars.
It went like this:
The show started with me feeling nonplussed, and it ended with me feeling nonplussed, which shouldn't come as a surprise, since my reaction is similar to (almost) anything produced in my country.
-
From the general consensus I've heard, it's rather inferior to the Genndy Tartakovsky miniseries, which itself was far superior to the actual prequel trilogy. I'll stick with what's good.
-
You mean the original clone wars that came on on Friday nights on cartoon network? The little 5 minute ones? I never really watched it, though one of the most famous usermade BF2 maps is based on the episode where grievous hunted the Jedi on that desert planet, and the group of ARC troopers with the shark-mouth-painted gunship showed up. Only episode i saw actually, i think.

For me, at least, the Clone Wars CG Movie and cartoon is rendered completely and utterly pointless by the fact that we already know where the plot's going to go and how it will ultimately end. Ten-to-one odds in favor of Lucas trying to pull some circle-jerking to get us to hope that maybe, maybe a Critical Plot Point X in Episode III will be overturned.

By that logic, Silent Threat: Reborn was an entirely useless campaign, because we all knew that the GTI would be defeated and the Hades destroyed at the end. :p
