Ive got some problems with the allied AI in the game
when ever i order an allied ship to attack the subsystem of a ship and/or just to disable it they fly around and will eventually do it but most likely its going to take forever. Is this due to somthing ive installed wrong or whats the problem?
Otherwise its like playing the good old FS again really great work :)

It's because of the AI. Sometimes it works. Sometimes it doesn't.

May also have something to do with the difficulty level. At low levels your wingmen are just as incompetent as your enemies, but on the other hand, on high difficulty levels they're just as competent as your enemies (which is actually quite decently competent once you turn it up to Insane). It *is* true though that the AI in general is less-than-stellar at specialized tasks such as disabling and disarming, and much better at just fighting.

tl;dr = they're brawlers not precision fighters.

well the problem is biggest in one of the traning missions but still... its sad they are that bad at the hit "This" Target (which a disable order is more or less)
had my ships just fly around doing nothing while trying to disarm an enemy...
but well guess i just have to live with it... (or change to FS1 but then the GFX and gameplay features have changed... :( )

I have noticed that "Disable" and "Disarm" commands in general work a lot worse than selecting a subsystem or turret and using "Destroy subsystem" command...

Yeah, I agree with Herra.

On the first i used disable and disarm with no luck... on the second i used both with some luck (think they damage about 10% or so...)

We probably need someone to go through all the SCP builds and look for regression errors.

Well tell me where to find the difrent builds and I can test if the AI works bether in some versions than in others
the only problem is that it might be just as fast doing it self since im not that experienced in how FS is setup yet...
