162? What?
-
Yeah I just saw that.
-
Nice   Can't wait for this...
The credits thing at the end was funny...
Though the lack of HTL ships/mediavps was a bit disappointing :(
Oh, and :wtf: at 162... I get it now... :drevil:
-
What 162?
-
What 162?
Watch the credits very carefully
-
Release date.
-
Oh. I get it now ;) :drevil:
Release date.
No.
-
Release date.
Indeed, it must be the release date. Don't you agree Blowfish?

Umm ... yeah ;) :nervous:

What kind of calendar are you looking at?
How many days are there in a year?
That depends. :p
-
What are you guys talking about?
-
Nothing relevant to anything, clearly :P
-
Hey, this is beautiful :) And classic music, too!
Could 162 mean the number of days till release? :drevil:
-
Could 162 mean the number of days till release? :drevil:
I think it means years.
Seriously, I think the fsport team will make the MOD fast and B.I.G.

How about we speculate on something else. Like, how long it's going to take for more than three people to notice something important in the trailer. :p
"Not Distributed By FilePlanet"?
-
How about we speculate on something else. Like, how long it's going to take for more than three people to notice something important in the trailer. :p
"Not Distributed By FilePlanet"?
Not quite, but you're close ;)
And several people have seen it, but only a few have figured out it's meaning ;)
-
:D
-
That would piss me off, except that I decided I wouldn't care.
-
If this is the "big Easter egg," I've got nothing. Only thought I had is that it might be a squadron number, but the Wiki doesn't turn up anything relevant.
-
People should still be looking into this one, you really really should!
When you see it, (as they say) bricks shall be shat, and you'll realize how it was right there in front of your face all this time.
-
These are the times in adventure games that I'd be fumbling for my walkthrough book. :p
Edit: Ooh...not the number, but I did spot something that seems rather intriguing.
GTD Repulse, much?
And the Hope...in much the same straits as ever, it seems.
-
Honestly speculating seems pointless, there are many things 162 could mean, and it seems impossible to prove any of them
-
One would think so, but you would be wrong :D :nervous:/me runs away
-
It seems that one or two people seem to have caught the reference, so speculating could have a very fruitful result.
As a side note, this would be much easier to do without the deinterlacing on all of the in-game shots. :p
And hey, the Mecross is in here too. You guys are really raiding the whole FS1 lineup for this.
-
We gonna see the Ravage? :p
I can't wait until I feel really stupid about this
Wait a second...
-
Gah, I shouldn't have started thinking about this. That number's driving me crazy. I know I've seen or heard it somewhere. The only thing I've learned so far is that there's a Wikipedia article for the number 162...which is apparently an untouchable number, whatever that is.
-
I'll tell you this much. Do all the research you want, and you'll turn up nothing :P
-
Gee, thanks. :p
-
Is it something that only certain people would know about to begin with, or something everyone on the HLP would know (after a while)?
And is it bigger than a toaster?
-
It's something everybody on HLP knows, even if they don't usually think of it.
It helps to have seen the Halo 2 trailer.
-
Lemme just tell you that finding the meaning of 162 is only half of the puzzle. Not even half. Just the first tiny part in a huge interweaving puzzle.
-
Huh. Apparently Goober can edit my posts without them showing up as edited. Suffice to say I carry highly classified information :P
-
It helps to have seen the Halo 2 trailer.
The one with Master Chief and alien ships and flying through space and stuff, right?
Hmm...
-
And the Hope...in much the same straits as ever, it seems.
It's fate is to be mangled and disabled every battle XD.
It helps to have seen the Halo 2 trailer.
The "I won't miss" one?
I just watched it. Didn't help at all. Well, I'm just oblivious.
-
No, I thought it was that one too, but I'm pretty sure that Goober was referring to the cinematic trailer that was shown in theaters, which you can see here (http://xboxmovies.teamxbox.com/xbox/981/Halo-2-Cinematic-Trailer-Super-HighRes/). If the ST:R trailer is using that same model, then I know what it is they were going for...but that doesn't tell me where to find it. :p
Edit: Oh, you slippery bastards...
-
Oh that one...
I C WAT U DID THAR.
-
I'm where Mongoose was, before he figured out whatever he figured out :nervous:
EDIT:
God damn, that was obvious. Goobers going around and messing with my head. *Replicator hand in head smiley here*

Fairly sure I've figured it out, but it seems too obvious...
EDIT: *****s bricks*

When you find it, you will know.

I don't get it...

I'm still lost...
-
I wasn't lost, but this thjread dragged me kicking and screaming to a desert island with 162 arved in a mountain face and left me there staring at it like tyhose apes out of 2001.........
Thanks a lot :sigh:
-
what the hell is it with the whole 162 deal? yay for obscure references
-
what the hell is it with the whole 162 deal? yay for obscure references
No kidding. I'm not even going to try...
-
It's not an obscure reference. The number itself means nothing.
-
When you see it, you will defecate blocks of porous ceramic building material.

Yup :P
-
Aiiiiiiiiiiiiigh, what does it mean?
-
what the hell is it with the whole 162 deal? yay for obscure references
No kidding. I'm not even going to try...
You know how long it took me to get it? Four minutes. You can spare the time. It's worth it. :D
-
It means whatever you want it to mean, maaaaan. Free love, peace, opening your mind...it's aaaalll good.
-
It took me about an hour, while I was typing an essay.
-
****ing d'oh. for the record, goob i hate you.
-
Something like that one Halo 2 trailer, eh? At the very end of that trailer, when the XBox logo comes up along with the website, the words "www.ilovebees.com" replaces "www.xbox.com" for a split second. Brb.
Edit: Nope, I've got jack. Could some of the regulars give us non-regulars a clue as to what the bugger this is all about?
-
We could...but then we'd have to kill you. Besides, I doubt Goober will allow any clue that's more explicit than the video hint was.
-
for the record, i'm not a big regular, i just lurk from the shadows and i got it... keep your eyes open, you never know behind what veil of despair you might find your dreaded answer.
Now if only i could solve the next piece :ick:
-
We could...but then we'd have to kill you. Besides, I doubt Goober will allow any clue that's more explicit than the video hint was.
I know this sounds somewhat desperate and dumb of me, but in that case, could someone PM me the 'secret'? I'm not going to tell anyone. Heck, if I do, Goober can levy the banhammer and banish me from the boards for forever.
-
Wait, it's an ST:R ARG?
-
Beyond this puzzle, there's another, and no one but the sizzler's figured it out to my knowlage. Freebies won't help you.
-
I know this sounds somewhat desperate and dumb of me, but in that case, could someone PM me the 'secret'? I'm not going to tell anyone. Heck, if I do, Goober can levy the banhammer and banish me from the boards for forever.
Let me be as vague as I think I possibly can. The real hint is in Goober's earlier post.
It's something everybody on HLP knows, even if they don't usually think of it.
If everyone on HLP knows about it, and if it's something that no one usually acknowledges, then poking around for long enough should let you find what you seek. It sounds like you're on the right track with that Halo 2 reference. Just keep digging. :)
-
Derek Smart and FS3?
-
Damn it Goober...I can't concentrate with this its driving me nuts...
AAAAUUUUGGGHHHH
-
Where do I start?
-
Where do I start?
Choose... :)
-
If it's something everyone on the forum is aware of, but doesn't think about all that often...
AAAAARGH. This is driving me mad.
If it's something on HLP that everyone is aware of but doesn't really think about...is that a euphemism for something about how the site works?
-
I don't know that I'd say "works," per se, but it's something along those lines. Keep your eyes open as you go about your normal site business, and see if you notice any sort of commonality going on. It's one of those things that'll make you facepalm pretty hard when you finally figure it out. :p
-
That's about as helpful as saying that a missing object will be found in the last place I'd look.
...
Wait, idea. Brb.
-
no fun, my hint got deleted :p
-
16th Febuary?
Thread 162?
162nd person to join HLP?
162nd page?
-
All I can think of is that there are 162 games in the Major League Baseball season, and something tells me that's not it.
Does... whatever we're looking for... actually relate to ST:R somehow?
-
Now you guys are just engaging in wild speculation.
Stop flailing around, and go back to first principles.
-
Now you guys are just engaging in wild speculation.
Funny, I think one person on this page is quite close.
-
me or Andregeos?
-
no fun, my hint got deleted :p
Something similar happened when I mentioned the [CENSORED BY GOOBER] I unexpectedly found while [ALSO CENSORED BY GOOBER].
;)
-
Oh you mean the [CENSORED BY GOOBER]?
(edit)
Damnit! Now he's censoring my thoughts. I dont know what i was talking about now.
-
Hee, now he's just being mean. :p
Let's see if this survives the mind censor. What finally led me to make the connection was a discussion somewhere on the boards in the reasonably near future that was completely unrelated to ST:R. Those of you who, like me, read just about everything that goes on around here might want to start perusing your memories.
-
Wait, so now the answer is in a board from the future?
Am i the only one here who doesn't have precognative skills?
-
I'm pretty sure the answer is in the [CENSORED BY GOOBER] from the [CENSORED BY GOOBER]. Maybe the [CENSORED BY THE FAA]?
-
NOW YOU CAN SEE THE VIOLENCE INHERENT IN THE SYSTEM!!!
sorry, couldnt resist :p
-
Ohh, that slippery bastard just stealthed me...or else I went randomly dyslexic.
-
The latter, I think.
Though I'm pleased to see that it helped at least one person. :)
-
Good thing to know that my stupidity winds up leading people down the right path once in a blue moon. I really do want a few more people to figure this out, since I don't think any of us who did are getting anywhere with what comes next. :p
-
Goober, how long did it take you to come up with these puzzles?
-
I dunno. :nervous:
Serious planning started on May 23, but the idea had been bouncing around in my head for a short while before then.
Also, Galemp and I need to get back to lurking again. We've passed critical mass (in terms of self-sustaining participation) and gone into overdrive. :p
-
Replying to posts?
Changing your signature?
Viewing Who's Online?
-
Throwing out guesses won't help. :p Besides, none of the items you're suggesting have much to do with any set number.
-
Does it have anything to do with...
Goober's "i love phoenixes" Custom Title?
-
Does it have anything to do with...
Goober's "i love phoenixes" Custom Title?
Maybe... :nervous:
But it won't lead you to it...
-
...and all I felt was :wtf:.
Great.
-
I quite like it, It's like a treasure hunt. Forces brains to be used instead of wikipedia and google
-
The thing is that the hints are so obscure. ;)
Seriously, when I found out what it was, I went, "Riiiiight..."
-
Colonol Dekker = 162nd Moderator? - as suggested by Wobble.
-
Orly?
I must confirm this...
Colonol Dekker = 162nd Moderator? - as suggested by Wobble.
Eh what you mean?
-
Seriously, when I found out what it was, I went, "Riiiiight..."
I'd actually say that the Halo 2 hint wasn't all that obscure at all. Anyone who was aware of the whole phenomenon that it was referencing would make the connection with the end of the ST:R trailer, and after that, it's just a matter of finding out exactly how/where to apply "162." I had tried one or two things along those lines even before the Halo 2 hint, but that (along with an unidentified other discussion) was what pushed me over the edge.
And Dekker, it means terran_emperor's still grasping at straws. :p I know I sound like a complete broken record, but the key here is to observe. Keep your eyes open as you do your normal forum thing, and if you're paying attention, you'll see something that fits right in with 162.
-
Colonol Dekker = 162nd Moderator? - as suggested by Wobble.
Eh what you mean?
Yes! Dekker is the gate! Dekker is the key!
All hail Dekker! WORSHIP AT HIS FEET!!
...
actually, no. You're wrong.

Once upon a forum clearly, while I pondered weak and weary
Over many a quaint and curious post of forgotten bore,
While I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a nagging,
As of someone posting, posting in the forum of the Great War.
"'Tis some curiosity," I muttered. "A silly stupid number game--
Only this, and nothing more."
Ah, distinctly I remember it was bleak October,
And each separate forum member flung their guesses out onto the floor.
Eagerly I wished the answer. Vainly I had sought from Goober -
that clever, crafty, secretive, head-wracking mastermind Goober -
An answer - nothing more.
And 162, numbers raising many a WTF and lolwut
Gnawed at me - filled me with fantastic aggravation never felt before.
So that now, to still the beating of my heart, I stood repeating
"Tis some curiosity--three numbers that make absolutely no sense.
A silly, benign head game meant to make me bash my head through a door -
This it is, and nothing more."
Presently my soul grew stronger, hesitating then no more.
"Goober," said I, "or Dekker, truly your forgiveness I implore;
But the fact is I was browsing, and so suddenly you came posting,
bringing us numbers I had never seen before. Mayhap you give me a clue?
Is this a reference to lost Freespace lore?"
Silence now, and nothing more.
Deep into the silence peering, long I sat here, wondering, fearing,
doubting, wishing fates upon Goober no forumite had ever dared to dream before.
"Surely," said I, "In fairness it is only right to offer a nonregular a hint.
A small clue to lessen the burden of this mystery."
Silence again. Nothing more.
Then this forumite beguiling my sad fancy into smiling,
By the grave and stern decorum of the countenance he wore,
"Come now," said he, "the answer will find you. Don't give up!"
"I have no idea where to begin," said I. "A hint to this mystery, I implore!"
"Related to the forum's functioning, it is," said he.
Only this, and nothing more.
Back to IRL returning, all my soul within me burning,
Soon again I felt that nagging within me once more.
"Surely," said I, "There is some logic to this puzzle.
Let me see, then, what thereat it is, and this mystery explore.
Let my heart be stilled a moment and this quandary explore;
'Tis a simple thing, and nothing more!"
Then, methought, the pounding in my skull grew denser, growing evermore tenser
Fueled by the quandary posted in the forum of the Great War.
"Help!" I cried, "thy Mod has lent thee - by these angels he has sent thee
an unsolvable quandary. 162! Too difficult a mystery for me to explore."
"Bull****, dude," said another; "It took me until my eyes were sore.
But I got it, and you will too. Persistence on your part I implore."
Mindnumbing frustration. This I feel, and nothing more.
And those numbers, never flitting, still are sitting, still are sitting
Pinned in the forum of the Great War;
And their meaning has all the seeming of a demon's that is dreaming,
And the question in my mind throws their shadow on the floor;
"What is 162?"
I shall bother asking...nevermore.
-
Oh, well done. :)
But considering you put so much effort into that poem, I doubt you'll leave it alone for too long. :p
-
You've created a monster!
Okay, RickJames, let's see if this hint gets by the Overlord. Think...structural.
-
Holy...
You certainly deserve SOMETHING for that.
-
Nuh-uh. I just wrote that to vent my frustration at the whole 162 business.
I've given up on trying to figure it out. I guess I just can't think in the way required to discover what the chuffing hell it means.
-
A shade of Red? - If that turns out to be right, i may be tempted to do something rash
-
I've given up on trying to figure it out. I guess I just can't think in the way required to discover what the chuffing hell it means.
It's not even really about thinking. I mean, I utterly suck at all forms of puzzles, yet I managed to blunder my way into the solution of this one. A few of your earlier posts sounded like you were on the right track. It seems like you understand the relation to what was at the end of the Halo 2 trailer, which should give you a basic idea of exactly what you're looking for. You know that it has something vaguely to do with how Hard Light functions, even if it's something that no one really thinks about on a daily basis. And I managed to sneak that word "structure" in there, too. If all else fails, and you feel like going more of a brute-force route, remember that I said that a completely-unrelated discussion in the recent past was what gave me the final clue. In retrospect, I now know why the person who prompted said discussion did so. :p
And terran_emperor, it might be a bit helpful to think about how some of these possibilities you're proposing could work in any real sense. I don't see how knowing a particular RGB value could be of any practical use, nor would knowing which number moderator Colonol Dekker is...other than maybe begging him to give you the answer. :p Again, look at the trailer, think about how it relates to what the Halo 2 trailer did, and go from there.
-
If you plug in '162' for the topic number in the address bar, while viewing this thread, you get an awesome early HLP thread from 2001. They're discussing how unlikely it is that the FS2 source code will ever be released.
-
Ah geez, Goober, your avatar's from the you-know-what.
Only now do I see the relation between this and the HALO 2 Trailer. It is surprisingly obscure, though, until I read the posts on this thread.
-
Still stumped. Darn it!
Man, but I loved I Love Bees.

Indeed. Awesome thread is awesome.

Strange. The links in that thread appear to have all been edited to link back to itself--it's like the most self-reflexive thread on HLP ever.
EDIT: Just got it. Goober, you clever, clever man. Boy, do I feel stupid now.

Colonol Dekker = 162nd Moderator? - as suggested by Wobble.
Oh dear! You took that seriously! It was a joke which was why I never posted that "suggestion" in this thread!

4 8 15 16 23 42 (joke)
EDIT: I actually love this stuff. But I have not been en-lighted so far, therefore I join the discussion.
We know:
1.) 162 is the message. It's of course unsure if this is actually a number :ick: It could be 1 - 6 - 2 or 16 - 2 or A - F - B or ~ (that's the Ascii Code)... you get the idea :shaking: And of course it still could be the number of days until release
2.) it's somehow related to It's something everybody on HLP knows, even if they don't usually think of it. The obvious moderator's answer would be the search-function  but somehow I doubt it. Donations-Page would also be funny. The Ascii theory would give us the ~ but that's stupid.
By the way, if you search for A F D you get the Common Issues thread  Yeah, okay I stop it.
3.) it's related to Silent Thread Reborn. Proof: The Halo 2 Riddle was related to the actual game as well.
However Goob, a hint about what we are actually looking for would be nice? Is it something actually related to the release? Or just a completely generic riddle? Because it could be anything from ST:R takes place 162 days after FS1 ended to 162 is the result of all team members' age added together :shaking:
Boys and Girls, we need more ideas here. Discuss!
-
Yes. A lot of people have got it, Vid. It's kind of Purloined Letter-esque.
-
*snip*
You're really really really really overthinking it.
Seriously, on certain parts of HLP if you're looking in the right place, it's right in front of you. Maybe not 162, not certain things like it.
-
Goob censored me!
-
He's good at that.
And Vidmaster, just to guide you along a bit, there's no real inherent meaning behind the exact value of "162." The clue could just as easily have been 547 or 86, and it would have worked out the same way.
-
It's kind of Purloined Letter-esque.
Guess so. All more complex possibilites lead to more possibilites or dead-ends.
Need to think this over.
-
Let's say that is somewhat connected to the Silent Threat: Reborn forum... ;)
(I hope this hint isn't exaggerately helpful)

Alright, for those who haven't found out what the deal with 162 is, let me re-state some already stated information in a slightly different way:
* The number 162 has NO significance of its own. Don't try a numerological analysis of it. It won't help.
* Everybody who uses this forum has often seen something in relation to which the number must be applied.
Good luck
faxi (who hopes that this post will slip through censorship)
P.S. don't get too fixated on the number itself - you really have to think out of the box!

-
Well, I got it, almost immediately after reading the thread. A bit obvious, honestly. At least to me.
-
I wish someone would clue me in! This is getting a little frustrating, I'm probably missing something very obvious or a key piece of gaming knowledge since Halo 2 has been mentioned and I've only played 1 and 3.
-
Nope, not necessary at all. All you need is a roving pair of eyes.
-
I hope I'm not spoiling it too much - try and take a look at the boards of the Banshee Squadron. May help.
-
A particular post by Goob.
-
So now that Silent Threat: Reborn has been released, can someone tell me the meaning of 162? :nervous:
-
Not yet, I don't think.
-
Not yet. However, within 162 itself, it is no longer prohibited to talk about the readme file. :)
-

That's the best suggestion so far. I would add "Check the page, carefully." :D
-
Devious!
I don't see how any of these 'clues' could possibly help. That is probably why they still exist.
-
I'd say they could help quite a bit, seeing as how the clues I gave a while back were the exact thought process I used to figure it out myself. :p
-
I updated the wiki article on 162. It originally was just one line "It is a mystery to us all"
-
Devious!

To be honest they're the best ones. They give out precious details and, at the same time, don't explain the whole trick(people still have to figure it out).
-
Just got it... and yeah, now I see what all the clues meant. And I feel like a complete idiot, but that's another story. For anyone who hasn't gotten it yet, I'll echo the earlier posts about looking at the Banshee Squadron forum; that held the biggest hint for me. Read through this entire thread first, because there are a lot of pretty good hints in these posts... and then go there, and you'll find the last piece you need.
Oh, and I'm not sure how Swantz's second post in this thread survived, but take a close look at that one. :nervous:
-
Yay! Fresh blood! :D
-
Could....someone....please....tell me....what it IS? :hopping: I feel helpless. btw, the Banshee Squadron boards didn't help at all. But I saw what I think I was supposed to be looking for.
-
Go to the 158th Banshee Squadron boards. Just the boards, don't pick any particular thread.
Look for a number on the screen.
-
I know what you're talking about, that's the worst part. It doesn't help.
-
Well, it's 158th firstly.
And secondly, if you really knew what he was talking about, it would help ;)
-
The [...], correct? If so, doesn't help
-

:hopping: You're .... NOT ... thinking about this the right way...
-
The Censor5000 strikes.
-
Indeed
-
o hai
-
:wtf:
-
Jeez, Goob, you're letting them get away with murder even with the censoring. You had me too paranoid to even hint at the Banshees before. :p
-
Another precious hint, Hehe.
(this one should work)
-
Ooh, that's a good hint, Mobius. :drevil:
-
Its the coords of a big "bosh beer" depot?
-
No, but...well...
"Hehe."
:nervous:
-
Hehe! Genius! ;7
-
Meh. To tell the truth, finding it wasn't nearly as exciting as it would have been if I had found it before the release.
It was still pretty sweet when I found it, but... it made me wish I hadn't given up back in October...
-
Amazing... I found a reference to 162 in Death Note! :eek2:
-
Amazing... I found a reference to 162 in Death Note! :eek2:
Something abysmal referencing something amazing? The nerve! :p
-
hey, I'm serious... when I listened to it I was like "Did Goober know about this?"...
-
I have no idea what "Death Note" is.
But anyway, 162 is just a number. I had 162 "activity points" on ModDB recently.
-
I also had 162 pages of posts on HLP last month.
-
Really, this is amazing how many theories people can make regarding a simple number that they see literally every time they turn on the HLP message boards.
-
You'll be surprised, Vip. The smaller the number, the more coincidences you'll see. I look for numbers like 4, 5, 13, 15, 25, 41, 42 and 21 126 because I can somehow identify with them. :)
-
The one I found wasn't a reference to the number, alone... it was some sort of reference to the 162 matter in general. Whatever... :nervous:
-

I love how the Halo community seems to think everything is somehow connected to 7.
Halo has 7 letters in it!!!

Check out the Marathon story page for an extension of it.
It's not so much a Halo thing as a Bungie thing.
-
The number 7 is probably the most favourite number of them all. Especially with fantasy authors.
-
Man, i'm supposed to be quick and i still don't get it. but as for 162 - Comma?
-
The number of Lokis onboard the Hades :eek2: :shaking: :shaking: :shaking: :nervous: :nervous: :nervous:
-
but as for 162 - Comma?
More like 162 - Dot. :p
-
Is it really that simple? Just gave myself that palm slap right on the face and nailed my eye doing it...
Seems like a devious way of making people mad!
-
At least you know now.
-
And so, the mystery is no longer a mystery. To all of you that still haven't got a clue about the 162, have you noticed the new sub-board here, in Silent Threat Reborn ? Now, look closely at the address of this "new" message board :p
-
Wow goober, i have to say that this is brilliant.
-
*stands back and watches the facepalming begin* :p
-
Still lost... :nervous:
-
Still lost... :nervous:
Go to the 162 board -- not any particular thread, just the board where all the threads are listed.
Look at the URL.
Go facepalm yourself.
-
:jaw:*facepalm*
*facepalm* *facepalm*
*facepalm* *facepalm* *facepalm*
*continues facepalming ad infinitum*
-
162 board...?
-
Also known as 'Pheonix: I love Pheonixes'
-
Still nothing, you understand I'll be one of the people to never find out what it is even when it's shown right in my face? :nervous:
-
OK...........................
Go to the ST:R board. Look near the top of the page, above the box containing the list of topics ......... it's called PHOENIX
-
LOL
-
Still nothing, you understand I'll be one of the people to never find out what it is even when it's shown right in my face? :nervous:
Go to the board.
LOOK AT THE URL.
Look for the number 162.
Do you see it?
-
Yes I already saw it.
-
Yes I already saw it.
So...you get how to reach Phoenix now, right?
Or how you would have done it before?
Now read up on the puzzle clues and learn what Phoenix was -- a way for people to get ST:R early.
-
I have now posted a thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,60815.0.html) that attempts to bring people who haven't played Phoenix up to speed.
-
I actually got it as soon as I noticed the 162 in the trailer.
Geuss I am blessed or something :nervous:. Or I just use forums frequently.
-
Now read up on the puzzle clues and learn what Phoenix was -- a way for people to get ST:R early.
Actually, getting ST:R early was a consolation for what we were supposed to get, but wasn't ready at the time...what that will be, we still don't know. :p
-
Do you fellow HLPers(Goober excluded, of course) know of the Experimental Lab#1? :D
-
I have now posted a thread (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,60815.0.html) that attempts to bring people who haven't played Phoenix up to speed.
:wtf:
I thought the Colonol beat you to it already.
-
Goober's thread is updated. The Colonel's thread doesn't cover every thread on the board, but Goober's does.
