Uh-huh... and how long before a hack or device is produced that explodes other chips... imagine the chaos. It's a stupid idea.

Exactly - there's no way in hell this technology will last. Millions in damages could be done just by devloping a remote detonation device and walking around all the hardware stores with active displays in a town or city.
I'd rather just be careful about my phone or laptop being stolen than have to worry about that!

Thats the problem in the UK, Simm cards. In the US if you steal a phone, the person reports it and the phone goes dead but no, over here they just take the SIMM card out and use another.

Think of if they put this stuff in home PCs!! you do something even slightly wrong, and the government can fry your system... no thank you
