I saw this 2 hour addendum to the original one.
I always thought that our monetary society was just slavery in disguise, but this takes it 10 steps further.

Oh goody, two more hours of conspiracy nut bull**** piled on top of the original bull****. Let me drop everything and watch that right now.
-
I have to agree, I think this is too close to conspiracy talk to be taken seriously.
-
Just because you're paranoid, doesn't mean that they aren't out to get you. ;7 :drevil:
-
Yeah, the creator of these films is pretty friggin paranoid I think. But even if you don't believe a word he says there are still some very important messages that can be taken from it.
-
it seems to be a pretty impressive piece of work, except for the fact that its a paranoia induced fantasy.
but i found the last version entertaining so i watched the sequel.
rather than create a utopia, i perfer outright nukage from orbit, kill almost everyone and maybe the survivors will grow wise, meh, better not risk it, just nuke em all :D

And to save all of our sanities, read one of the many excellent debunking sites out there immediately after you do so.

Amen.
Anyone who reads conspiracy theories and takes ANYTHING they say at face value should read the book "How To Lie With Statistics" by Darrell Huff. It's the same thing going on.

the problem with this conspiracy theory is that theyve lumped many volumes of conspiracy theories on top of it. all the 911 theories and so on, also it seems that part 2 contradicts some stuff in part 1. example being in part one they pointed alot of fingers at everyone, but then in part 2 they say that its not a conspiracy, that rather its just a bunch of mismanagement. also part one claimed that they wanted to enslave us while part 2 claims they already have (and thats actually, from part 2's perspective anyway, the most convincing part of the whole thing, mainly since ive been saying that since i was in highschool). also does anyone see the inspiration drawn from the 'money as debt' documentry? they managed to pervert some of that as well. then they tell us what to do which essentially translates into "be a hippy", a sure fire way not to accomplish anything.
now i do find the concept of an engineered society such as the venus project intresting, still its a bunch of sci fi nonesince. since such a society would devolve into an obease hedonistic party state within half a generation and collapse. it also overestimates the human grasp of technology. most people are incapable of understanding how to apply the technology they already have to its fullest, let alone comprehending how to use new technology to improve the quality of life. you cant automate everything. there are things humans can always do better than machines. in such a technocracy the ruling elite will be the scientists and engineers with technicians being a middle class of such. you will still have class divisions. and frankly theres no way to set up such an engineered society from scratch. it would be intresting to set one up as an expirement on mars or something, but i doubt it would work at all.
