Title: Cutscenes
Post by: Locutus of Borg on October 18, 2008, 10:43:06 am
How can I reveal all the cutscenes in FSPORT and the FS2 mod (meddiavps selected) without playing through both campaigns.

If you have the OGG cutscenes pack, you can Extract the contents and play them with the VLC player.

But, er, why would you ever want to?

Just turn the game to Very Easy if you're having trouble.

In the Cinema portion of the tech room, press CTRL+SHIFT+S.

But would that give you both FS1 and FS2 cutscenes?

Of course not. It gives you whatever cutscenes are appropriate for the campaign you're playing.

Then that doesn't solve the problem.

... In fact I don't think there is a problem to be solved at all, just play the two campaings with the -mod feature.

... or do what Rodo said.

Assuming he wants to do see them in-game.

I strongly believe that nothing is impossible, but I'd still find it highly unlikely that he specifically wanted to see them in-game if he doesn't want to play.

well looking at the cutscenes in order as the game shows them is better, I always liked to watch those vid's even on the 151th time I played through the entire campaign.

But not all the people can wait till the end, or maybe he wants them for something else.
Anyway, ahh something I forgot to tell, you should unpack the OGG.vp with the Vpview32 pack.

I want to be able to view them from the tech room, record them with FRAPS, and use them in videos. (Because I can't work with OGG)

I'll try ctrl + shift + S thanks

That has got to be the worst possible method of converting video I have EVER heard.

Except possibly for pressing PRNTSCRN 24 times per second.

Wait, so I wasted all that paper for nothing!

Of course not. You have made the paper industry a little happier...

Concidering that Ogg is open-source, I'd assume there are loads of programs for handling Ogg Theora video files. Do not try that. It will most likely be easier than the other options you are thinking of.

Download this http://www.erightsoft.com/SUPER.html

Then convert the ogg files into whatever format you like.

Oh right?

What about Lobo? She's a Finnish member of the community. Her custom title is "Problem Solving Wolfwoman".

IMO your name should be changed to Mobia.

You didn't get the point. It's Mobius because I underline the fact that I'm a male.

Whatever. Ignore drive active and functioning...now.

I dare anyone to give me that title.

Things might not be going so well, if the necessity to underline that particular fact exists.
