Title: Could someone do me a favor?
Post by: Retsof on October 19, 2008, 02:16:01 pm
Could someone make a spherical shockwave model for me?  I'm including a DDS texture for it in the attachment.
NOTE:  The texture is a five-second job, but still looks rather good, however I may improve it once I have the model.

These don't work for some reason, IIRC

They do. They don't look too well, but still- I have one. Just that it's not mine. Ask DragonClaw ( I think that's him? ) for the spherical shockwave from Hidden Terror. Or if he gives permission, I can give you that shockwave.

Well I got the model from DragonClaw.  It works but it dosen't fade out.  and my texture looks rather crappy on it  :P .

I think you need to make an ani or a dds sequence to get the fade effect that shockwaves have.

Figured it out, the texture needs to be 256 color pcx.  That makes the fadeout work.

Actually as long as you don't have ten different colors in the effect you don't even notice.
