I know I'm posting a lot of posts this week about some pretty basic FRED stuff and wasting everyone's time, but no matter what I do, I can't get the fade-in sexp to work. BTW, I'm not using autopilot cinamatics in mission editor, player is under ai control, and the mission starts in the docking bay of an Orion (just thought I'd include that for the hell of it, in case it helps)
I'm sure we've all played Halo at some time or another, you've all seen the beginning of a level where it'll fade in from black with a subtitle, I'm trying to recreate that for a FRED mission, if that helps you get a clearer picture of what Dilmah is doing

What build are you using? Think there may have been a bug at one point. See a few of them in Mantis but they are all marked resolved.

Oh well I'm using 3.6.10 everything, i thought you meant about FRED vers (my .exe says 3.6.10 but the actual prgram says 3.6.9 as the FRED vers

All 3.6.10 builds for some reason say 3.6.9. on the label.

Oh wow, so I've been using 3.6.10 FRED with 3.6.9 all along.
No wonder I get random errors that don't match up with the documentation for the SEXPs sometimes.

Looks like I have Fade In issues with 3.6.10. It happened in Blue Planet...without Fade In I lost a few interesting moments in nearly-critical missions.
