Title: Can't get into subspace and finish mission!!!!

I don't know what the f#ck is going on but I can't go into subspace and return to base to finish a mission. I've tried changing the combination of keys but it does not work. Anyone has an idea?

I assume the situation hasn't been like this always. That would suggest that you started experiencing this problem recently. Therefore I'd recommend thinking back and pondering, whether you've happened to make any modifications to your FreeSpace 2 installation.

Also, it never hurts to run a debug build and posting the fs2_open.log from \freespace2\data.

Hello Lobo,

your assumption is correct. This has just started. I have not changed anything here; I'm playing a user made campaign called BRSHIVANS and I'm in mission #3; in mission #2, ALT+J worked properly to end a mission.

How can I run that debug that you are recommending?

Your problem is just for that mission, or have you not tested it in others? Try going to the tech room and jumping out in a different one.

Sounds like whoever wrote that mission disabled warpout.

I just downloaded it and the third mission of one of the campaigns requires you to land in a fighterbay not alt-j

Glad to hear you got it working, but in future please specify if the problem you're experiencing is mission-specific. I was genuinely worried that your whole FreeSpace had been ****ed up.

And be prepared. There are other campaigns that occasionally require the player to enter a ship's fighterbay in order to finish a mission.
