Title: Is this allowed?
Post by: Romanmolf on October 26, 2008, 06:45:52 am
I've been thinking about making my own forum, which will be about Freespace.
Are there any restrictions? For excample, should I say: ''This is not the official forum, the official is here'' or something?

Since when HLP is the official FS forum?

Do it only if you think it will be used for many interesting things such as project hosting. You may host, dunno, ShadowGorrath's End War or Ancient Shivan War just to write a couple of examples. :)

No one's stopping you. Hell, we even have The Forum of JamesTM already. Just keep in mind that unless you can offer something truly unique, such as the aforementioned project hosting, very few people are likely to join. And don't advertise here. Unless (pardon me for the repetition) you can offer something truly unique that will make it a formidable source of FreeSpace knowledge/stuff.

Well... ok.
I will do project hosting. I could also have support or something. Perhaps Lobo could help me with that.
I'll send lnk as soon as I finish. :D
