Title: Re: Bush Decides He Hasn't Caused Enough Trouble In The Middle East
Post by: TrashMan on October 27, 2008, 04:45:51 pm
I'm surprised (NOT!) that people are jumping on this like crazy. no one here questioning the article? No one here waiting for confirmation?

Heck, I don't like Bush, the US policy or the situation anymore than anyone here on the forum. Heck, I don't like the middle-east, or middle or east  or west for that matter.

Am I the only one who seriously questioned this?

Huh! It's the BBC. No-one questions the BBC! Be that right or wrong, no-one seems to question it.

Well we're into some pretty crazy conspiracy if it wasn't the Americans. Why else would a leading politician of a nation come out of the blue and complain about an attack by a foreign country on their soil without actually having been attacked?

How many sources do you want then? France 24? (http://www.france24.com/en/20081027-syria-blasts-us-terrorist-aggression-over-raid-iraq-syria&navi=MONDE) al-Jazeera? (http://english.aljazeera.net/news/middleeast/2008/10/2008102716234134944.html) al-Arabiya? (http://www.alarabiya.net/articles/2008/10/27/58989.html) CNN? (http://www.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/meast/10/27/syria.iraq/index.html) (in whose article an American official confirms the attack?)

I'm saying we know jack s*** for sure.
Was there an attack at all? By whom? Who was killed?

For all we know aliens might have decided to kidnap some sheep.

Heck, there can be a kazzilion explanations. Maybe some kid activated a old bomb/mine. Maybe the gas tank exploded. I have no idea, but honestly I lost my faith in media altogether.

And they know the exact number of helicopters involved in the raid and exactly what they did how?

Did you even bother to play the video before waltzing in here claiming that there were doubts about the report's credibility? Or did you simply do your usual trick of forming a half-assed opinion based on dubious assertions while even now girding your loins to drag to thread off topic and defend said assertions to the death? Cause if it's the latter I'll warn you right now it means you'll be adding another badge for a month.

O, knock it off! De-railing the topic my ass. If it's anyone here trying it, that would be you, not me.
Geez, strike me down for having an opinion, why don't you.

From my experince, I tend to wait a few days before believing any news coming from politicians of ANY country.  WMD's anyone?
If you got a problem with that kara, well...then it's your problem and I don't care.

I decided to simply split and lock this idiocy. I'll monkey on any further reappearance.
