Title: fix mbr

hi has any one used a fix mbr application and if so which one ,

 i need to change my mbr o an windows xp , the problem being that its a laptop and never came with a systems disc and it uses a partition to boot from with a disc that you burn yourself and for some reason wont let me fix the mbr from there , i go to the repair section and try to fix the mbr but it refuses.......;

so if anyones got any ideas id be grateful

tried fix boot?


otherwise partition magic might work or BartPE

This is easy. Boot up with someone elses xp install disc. Go into recovery console, and type "fixmbr".
