Title: FreeSpace 2 on Mac OS X?

I heard you can play FS2 on Mac OS X by downloading the installer + the ISO of the game disc/original game files, is that true?

You can acquire FS2 from the source of your choice. I'd recommend Good Old Games. After that you'll need to get an FSO build for Mac (link in my signature). That way you can play FSO on a Mac.

There is also a Mac Launcher available from the Cross-platform Development board under the Source Code Project board.

I've done it and it works! And a few others on this forum have used Macs for Freespace as well.
