There are two unused VP files on FS2 CD #2 and CD #3. They are about 50 meg each. I wonder what they contain. I'll post the names of the files later as a reply so you guys can check it out. :cool:

There is something on CD3 called tangoB_fs2.vp. It only contains one file called game_dat1.set. I am not quite sure what it is for, although it is a safe guess to say that it probably contains installation data.

Don't think that InstallShield is programmed to read VP files. And provided that the files needed for installation are already there, what's the use for the unused VP file?
I suspect that it contains unused graphics, etc.

What is a "set" file though?

i think those files indicate the game wish CD is Incerted on the drive

My geus is that it holds the code for the game engine and stuff.....

and i'm pretty sure that one holds the command briefing animations.
