Title: Nebula Environments - Can they be changed in Mission?
Post by: terran_emperor on November 08, 2008, 06:36:20 am
Title Says it all.

Basically - is it possible to change the nebula Environment in mission?

ie - you start off with in a Nebula with medium electrical storms, then something happen (like a bomb goes off), and the nebula storm type changes first into heavy electrical storms then finally EMP, over about a minute?

Yes, there are a few interesting SEXPs in FRED 2 Open. :)

Change ---> Backgrounds and Nebula ---> nebula-change-storm

You can remove/add/re-add the nebula using another SEXP, mission-set-nebula. :)

Does it fade out, or just vanish?

I think it just vanishes; meant to be covered up using the fade-in Sexp
