I once heard that, during or immediately after Twilight Princess was being made\was released, that they were working on another Zelda game right away. I have not heard anything like this sence.
Anyone know anything?
-
At E3 (or soon after) they mentioned that they're working on another Zelda. Other than that, nothing's been heard.
-
I thought the next Zelda project was going to be the movie.
-
Their making a movie? got a link to that?
-
Just heard rumors, and I saw a trailer. it was during the summer. I think it's on IGN.
-
Search didnt trun anything up. Can you see if u can find the link?

If you're thinking of the same "trailer" I'm thinking of, you might want to consider the fact that it was posted on the first of April. :p

Yes, it was. Which is why I refuse to take the Zelda movie seriously :P
I do recall though hearing some buzz around from a few friends and a news article I found on gamespot a while ago regarding it.
EDIT: Here. Though it's about 3 years old. (http://www.gamespot.com/news/show_blog_entry.php?topic_id=23967693)

Just remember that there's a trailer for Minesweeper the Movie (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LHY8NKj3RKs) too...

The zelda movie isn't official. It's like star wreck. But it looks great. Especially the frickin flying flower thing. Ganon looks gey though.

All the actors look pathetic :doubt:
Especially the one for link. He looks way to American.

Dam, got my hopes up only to burn them down. And i didnt fall for it on April 1st. Dam dam dam.

i would like a sword game that for once ACTUALLY responds EXACTLY to how you hold the remote + nunchuk. IE, your sword IS your remote, if you slash with the remote, you slash in game. If you're shaking from adreneline, the sword shakes. If you cough, the sword comes at Link's face.
IMO, THAT's what the wii it made for.

Closest we got to that is Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. It's not that precise, but hey, at least you can fling everything across the room with the force equivalent of a cough :P
-
let's hope that new clone wars game it better...
-
The new gyroscopic add-on for the Wiimote should allow for that sort of precision...it's now just a question of whether or not any developers take advantage of it.

It isn't. (http://www.metacritic.com/games/platforms/wii/starwarstheclonewarslightsaberduels?q=clone%20wars)

When is that coming out anyway? Nintendo was all OMG WIIMOTION+!!!!! at E3, then it was never heard of again.

Small tangent, i watched that, then read in minesweeper's help how to play, then beat beginner in 237 seconds... with the TV on.
-
My record on beginner is 10 seconds :P

In an interview with the guy how created zelda (myamato, or something like that) said that one of the ideas they discussed for the next zelda was having Link interact with a world with very advanced tech. either though time travel or by going to some other dimension.
of course, that's just one of their ideas, doesn't mean they will use it.
-
Link's already done both:
Time Travel in Ocarina of Time and in Majora's Mask.
Dimension-hopping in A Link to the Past and Twilight Princess.
-
yeah, but not to a world with advanced technology.
-
Link in the modern day? That just reeks of bad gameplay to me.
-
I think more like fantasy-ish. something like the new final fantasy games (the futuristic ones).
EDIT: like this one:

now, think of link from hyrule being teleported to a world like that. sounds cool to me.
-
just got 37 on beginner, then realised that this smily  looks like it's taken from the winner screen.
-
um, wrong thread...
EDIT: no, just ot.
-
having Link interact with a world with very advanced tech
Link with a lightsaber!!!!

:bump:
Now that would be cool!
-
Lol, just play SSBB. I rule at link w/ the lightsaber (once survived for 4 minutes using only a couple lightsaber drops, against 3 AI level 7s)
-
Cool. Brawl's AI is somewhat competent, unlike Melee's.
