Title: Modding Question:
Post by: LtNarol on March 06, 2002, 10:57:01 pm
is it possible for a ship to have subobjects that move independently to create the sort of effect of a serpent? sorta head changes direction and the rest of it changes direction only when they reach the location where the head originally changed?

The only rotation that the FS2 engine allows it turret rotation and continuous sub-object rotation such as radars or the thing on the Sience vessel.

Sorry :(

I once considered this (for a dragon type model) but  like untouchable has pointed out it won't work.

Wait, isn't there rotation by degrees? Look at the SG Rahu. The rearend rotates at 30 degree intervals.
