Title: TBM Templates
Post by: Colonol Dekker on November 20, 2008, 10:23:41 am
I know it sounds silly, but for the folks newer to the FS2 modding scene a TBM template pack might be quite useful. I may well work on some over the weekend* then possibly....

This could get stickied.

Or even a mod starter pack with a blank mod.ini and correct folder layout.

*unless someone beats me to it.

Not to be rude. Why look at a TBL file instead of making a template.

TBM's a re modular, it'd be a bit easier to get to grips with for the new guy who just wants to make one new ship or weapon rather than risk corrupting a whole table :)

WOW that good for make a small add-on    :D

just technical question it is faster for the engine to processing only one TBM file or i can easily pull one tbM per weapons or ships ?
This is not affect the loading time and memory usage and/or access time ?

I think the limit is equal to a maxed out TBL. so well over a hundred ships :nervous:

Weapons not so sure, but in answer to your question you could easily have forty plus .TBMs running in a "mymod" folder under FS2.
