Title: .pof Import
Post by: Krallis on November 29, 2008, 03:35:26 pm
Is it possible to convert a .POF into a .obj or something that will work in XSI. I would like the ship models for my FS2 mod but Im not sure how to get them as compatible formats.

Cheers

Well, pcs2 can export to cob...if you run it through TrueSpace, you can probably get it into OBJ or something.
Donno if DAE export is working yet.

brandx0 pointed me to the pcs2 forum... digging through there pointed me to the wiki with links to the beta pcs2 with collada ability. I haven't messed with it myself yet but that may be a good place to start? however i think the collada support is import onry, meaning conversion to .pof, not from (if i read/understood right)

It can import from and export to DAE.
