On the other hand most of the eastern European countries are more interested in the EU and NATO then what Putin's selling so i doubt we would see a reestablishment of Warsaw.

Also, I have to figure that the US is at least smart enough to know how feasible a missile defense shield is before spending vast amounts of money on it. If they thought the Russians could defeat it in 2 years, they wouldn't have spent 40 years designing it. A system that could circumvent a national missile shield could theoretically circumvent ship defenses, effectively rendering every fleet in the world obsolete. If the Russians have that technology, I'd have to ask, why the hell isn't Putin the King Hegemon yet?

Oh, and that clock is really cute . . . put it away so I can get some sleep tonight, hmmm?
