Either that, or they'll use what they got in the Descent 3 files to make their own version of the actual Descent 3 that was initially envisioned. They may even give the game more eye-candy, which is what HLP first did and is still doing. :)

I've never play D3, but i've obviously seen the demo trailer after RETAIL FS2 install. Did that AT-AT actually walk?

It's called a Juggernaut, and yes, it does move. Unfortunately, it only does so on one level (10). In all the other levels where it is included, it is put in a confined space and hence has no room to move around.

D2 is better, and open-source. though, you have tinker with it alot to get it to work right and the graphics are early 90's.

I still like Frontier ELite 2, and those graphics are worse than starwing/fox.

For me, D3 was the entire reason why I knew the existence of FreeSpace 2 . . . else I'd just had stayed with FS1 forevermore . . .  :p

Or Good Old Games (gog.com). I just bought it off there and after configuring my gamepad to work with it, I'm having a blast.
