Okay, before you ask, I did do a forum search.
Anyway, I felt like making a shield mesh for the Leviathan, so I did a cob>dxf into blender, took one of the lower LODs and scaled, subsurfed, and moved a few vertices where bits were sticking out. But that's not important. When I try to get it into PCS it crashes. I get that startup pop-up for a bit then the "this program has had an error and needs to close". So after seeing stuff with lights and subobjects etc. I ended up just replacing the shield on an Ursa in hopes that I could import the mesh from PCS/Modiview. Still didn't work. Then it turn out I got the "e" and the "i" switched in the word shield. Fixed that, still crashes. Urg.....

What exactly are you trying to get out of Blender and into PCS? A Collada file?
-
I just went back from dxf to cob. Did the subobject stuff in TS with the... table/directory looking thingy.
SMALLEDIT: I'm signing off for the night, see you all tomorrow.

:bump: Wow, have I got you all stumped?

Uhh ... just use collada. That imports right into blender. Make the shield mesh, call it "shield" and import back into PCS2 via DAE again. Should work fine.
-
M'kay, I'll check it out.

If that fails epic, I have a .blend to .cob converter that should help. It works just fine for me, so if you need I can post it up somewhere.
-
Erm... can someone give me a download link for collada?
