Title: Mp3 Player Screen Repair
Post by: Polpolion on December 16, 2008, 07:24:03 pm
As none of you probably know, I bought a Sansa Sandisk e280 last January, and unfortunately, the screen just cracked. It's pretty big crack, but the thing is, it doesn't hurt the functionality. Everything still works as it should.

But the thing is, it's really ugly. Understanding that I bought the product online, I can't return it, the warranty is expired, and I'll have to pay money to get it fixed, what are my options? How much would it cost?

Unfortunately it's looking like you're going to have to pay to have it fixed. With iPod's the market is so big that you can find loads of replacement parts on ebay but sansa replacements seem to be either non-existent (to the public) or very rare. Rarity denotes high cost usually.

As for what it will cost, I guess it depends on where you can take it or send it to be fixed...

find one with something else thats broke, a hd for example, and steal its screen.
