Title: recognise this?
Post by: CougEr on March 15, 2002, 05:50:30 am

any comments?
I'm really going blind with this  I haven't a photo or an image to copy.
   unless I start FS2.
:)
Llooks okay by memory.
The engines are missing of course, this is just the fusolage.
and the poli count is still looking low enough.
I must be getting better at modeling. :)

I'll be taking orders on customization shortly, squad logos personal insignias and nomenclature numbers.

Add some engine output bevels and we'll see after that. ;)

i dont know how your modeling this but while using subpathcs try and use sub patch weights they will make getting complex shapes done far easier

ohh no!  this is just the basic shape. Have not frozen it yet.
then I'll do the edges as a whole new frame work where all the pieces will fit perfectly.

it will be poli intensive but the quality of dettails after will be amazing.

who would not like to see an Herc MK II in close dettail mode?

hehe
thought so.

yes but that doesn't stop you from using a subpatch waith to get the basic shape more acurate before you freeze it

yes! I agree if I need to do something in a hurry,
but with this one I want to be accurate, things like trims and rubbers around the canope and so forth  so , it is important to model each piece.
Im using a weight patch anyway
