Title: Can I use a .tbm to change the order of entries

Is it possible to change the order of entries of a ships.tbl or weapons.tbl via a *.tbm without making any changes to the *.tbm?

Try creating a new tbm with the names in the order you want and use "+nocreate". This may work.
