Title: I can't play in French

I tried tu use the french translation v1.2 with the latest builds and mediavps, and the GUI is translated, but the mission's aren't.
If i turn off mediavps, it works. I don't know why...
FreeSpace 2 is running on Linux Ubuntu.
Help !
It's not only for me (i play in English), i'm building an installation tutorial at Ubuntu-fr.

This one (http://www.hard-light.net/forums/index.php/topic,54572.0.html)? You'll need to place the files to \freespace2\mediavps\data the same way you placed them to \freespace2\data\. And you'll probably have to create the subfolders under \freespace2\mediavps\data\. This is because of the way the game engine prioritizes files and folders.

Thanks. I placed my data file (retail freespace files + translation) in /mediavps and it works !

Ur doin' it rong. I meant that you should copy the translation files to \mediavps\. The retail files should stay where they are. Pardon, I expressed it rather inaccurately.
