Title: Rotation on Y axis
Post by: firehawk777 on April 01, 2001, 06:25:00 am
I have just pretty well finished a truck for my planetary assault campaign but the sub model wheels wont turn on a Y axis(they turn on any other axsis)
I'm pretty good with this normally but they just refuse to move on that axis so if anyone knows any tricks to what may stop movement of a subsystem even with all flags set right and the rotation set to 9 or 10 (slowest setting)
Any help from one of you masters would not go astray on this and Ill mention you for your help when im finished as solving this problem wiil allow me to finish three other pofs.

I think it's not possible to make subobjects rotate around the y-axis. It IS impossible to have rotating turrets on a ships sides, so that may be the same problem.

If it was imposible to make subobjects rotate  on a y axis why would there be the option to do so

Rotation round Y-axis? don't you mean Z-Axis?
presuming axis run like so in FS?

X (right-left)
Y (top-bottom)
Z (front-back)

What about Blackwater ops capship. It has a rotating midsection which I think is Y axis.

Or am I on the wrong path altogether?

Scrap that I'm talking krap, it's Z axis.
