Problem: FSO won't recognize edits made to a mod weapons.tbl after a crash.
Both the entry "cycle" flag for three weapons, and edits I've made to remove a bad
image file name for two weapons go unregistered. Both the debug and regular 3.6.10
(these are a bit older, not the latest ones) exes exhibit the same behavior.
The cycle flag worked one time, then I had the crash on close of FS2 and it's not worked since.
So far I've tried:
rebooting
replacing the weapons.tbm by copying over to a new file > delete > rename
after that, moved all the tbm data over to a proper pre-existing tbl, deleted the tbm
deleting everything out of the main FS2 and mod cache folders
doing a windows disk cleanup and getting rid of everything
emptying the recycle bin
Edit - Also went an updated via the installer with new exes, no change.
I can't think of anything else to try, unless something has corrupted itself on close.
I think it was a write error... but that's all I can remember.

You can lock, delete or whatever this thread now - figured out the issue.
Someone added an oddly named weapons table, in addition to my table, which was
the default. Somehow I ended up with a mix in which 90% of the functions didn't work.
Why this hasn't reared it's ugly head till now.. is anyone's guess.
Good news, figured out the issue.
Bad news, I get to go back and retweak all the weapons again to match what they were
supposed to be. :doubt:
