Title: TV Presenter Tony Hart dies....
Post by: Flipside on January 18, 2009, 09:40:54 am
Well, this applies mostly to the UK members, but this guy was the one who first opened my eyes to art, and helped move it from an 'Elitist' position to something anyone could do in their own home.

He didn't do at all bad at 83, but still, a sad loss :(

Damn. I'm sure we all wished we could get our pictures onto The Gallery at some time or other.

i was thinking about "take hart " the other day as i was driving home from work ( i was wishing there was a program like his and "rolph harris" so my son ((5 years old)) could watch and benefit as i did , but sadly those days of television are long gone its more y dont you just watch another piece of ****e)), and we should also remember that the roots of walace and grommit came from here as "morph" was a weekly feature within the show ...

Too true, most childrens' shows these days seem to be set on reducing a childs' intelligence, not increasing it :(

I did actually consider changing the title to include 'TV Presenter' for exactly that reason to be honest.

In fact, I think I'll do that now :)
